Why am i being punished?

So, like the title says i feel like GGG is punishing me for my build. I'm using a warrior, with Semic Cry, corrupting blood, build with a moderate amount of blocking but has high regen, so I don't care about getting hit. i am now level 81 and still cant clear the 3rd ascendancy, the honour system for my build that doesnt care about getting hit, because it's slow walking speed, high defence and high regen is crippling, this system has to go, i know range is king but i wanted to go somthing i havent seen around much, i currently walks through maps clearing them (yes it's slow) but i feel safe, so why cant i clear a dumb level 65 ascendancy?
