Ascendancy passive skills for scion cant respec pls help

I cant respec out of passive nodes on ascendant it only allows me to remove the point allocated to the class wheels on ascendant and nothing else it wont even allow me to respec all my point if i wanted to. I have like 100 regret points and it wont let me respec is this a bug or am i doing something wrong ?

i dont know what your talking about but the whole thing is bugged for me. simply put the game wont allow me to change my ascendency passives on my scion character. thats the issue im having and i have used all of my passive points. so i dont understand.

i respeced my whole passive tree and it let me change ascendency again so problem fixed i guess thanks for the reply

I'm late to reply on this, so I don't know what your tree looked like before.

Aside from seaman pointing out that Ascendancy passives requiring more points to refund...your passive tree has to be valid after the refund for the refund to occur. There are two times this comes into play: the small ascendancy passives granting passive points, and the large ones granting passive points + allows allocating from a different starting point.

In order to refund a "Path of the <class>" passive, there can't be any passives allocated that are connected to that class's starting point, but not the Scion's starting points.

In order to refund a "Path of the <class>" passive or a "Passive Point" small passive, you must have unspent non-Ascendancy passive points. These nodes give you passive points when allocated, and will remove the extra points when refunded--and you can't drop into negative remaining points. They also won't randomly refund passives for you--you have to choose a passive to refund yourself before refunding the Ascendancy passive.
