Itemization is completely broken
The itemization in this game is worse than D4 was at launch.
I am wearing exactly one item I found myself. My entire gear is worth less than one white heavy belt. Which is worth so much because it gives you a chance at the only unique worth anything. I have picked up countless items and they are all worthless. Currency is the only thing that matters. For most players, the crating system does not exist. You are strictly better off buying an item than spending currency on crafting. Maybe add an abyssal mod if the item has an open slot - peak gameplay. What makes this so sad is that PoE 1 has this figured out. A crafting system where you can craft 40/40-capable gear in SSF while having a day job. Uniques that are powerful and exciting. Actual item progression. Please throw away the entire item system and bring back PoE 1's. The current system is a failed experiment. Last bumped on Sep 12, 2025, 3:08:01 AM

Why are you using D4 as a example?
Both games are not in same genre of gaming: One is a ARPG where you progressing through game by collecting better gear which makes you stronger another is a Trade game with a ARPG attached to it where you collect currencies which you use to buy gear. Poe2: Play through the campaign like a nofmal ARPG and at the moment you are done and you are maping T1 you don't collect loot... you are looking only for currency and after 10-15 hours you buy gear which catapult you to T15 maps....Then you save the Divine currency and buy a gear that let you destroy end bosses...and now you are done with the tutorial and the game TRADE GAME begins....now you are in the beautiful virtual world of gamblingand trade. 10 divs...100 divs ...1000 divs....100000000000000000000 divines that is what you bragging about before your friends not leveling or mapping... After the fantastic campaign (which is here to hook you up) you are forced to use the trading game to progress.... it's by design. Haven't you asked yourself how is it possible that all streamers 2 days after finishing the campaign are playing T15 buffed in to oblivion maps and normal players have problems to manage T5 maps without any juice...? Trade baby trade... The real magic about this game in summary: You buy your way up to T15 through trade to NOW be capable to farm enough currency to craft the gear needed for the progress from T1-T15... Think about it....that is genius . Last edited by GedankeKlee13#8319 on Sep 12, 2025, 3:49:44 AM
