LIFE LEECH: BUGGED OR DO I MISS SOMETHING?
|

Few months ago someone told me life leech was bugged, instead someone else claimed it is not but there are various mechanics and it is not so easy.
Now: i removed the majority of my objects with life regeneration, so it was veeeery slow, to try to see an increase; i tried to hit with the basic attack (so, physical) some trash mob with a quarterstaff i found with 5,04 % physical dmg life leech, and it is quite clear it doesn't work. Someone could explain me if it is not working or if i miss something? (note: my char is a monk). Thx in advance Last bumped on Sep 12, 2025, 9:20:00 AM

Isnt it capped as 10% of your life or smtg like that?

Life leech works fine right now.

Well... "Fine". Because of mob's leech resistance, you need some heavy hitting abilities to feel the leech working. Also need a way to get insta leech (new jewel is awesome for that. I've got 8% insta and its nice). Im using it on arc blood mage, so since arc chains alot and hit hard i can defenetly see the leech going, but unless u can hit hard or somewhat hard and often u wont feel it as much. + on quarterstaffs i believe there's only phys leech, but most of the monk's abilities are ele based, so you will leech only from the manority of you damage. (Basic attack isnt much of a damage) P.S. No, its not capped like in PoE1. In theory you can leech 200% of life per second, but requires quite a bit hit to achive it. (Or a lot of overlaping leech instances from big hits xd) |
