Chayula Sap of Nightmares

Sap of Nightmares ascendancy "Leech recovers based on Chaos damage as well as Physcial damage" doesn't work with quarterstaff suffixes "Leeches x% of Physical damage as life/mana".

I had leech on my ring, but when I swapped ring and left leech only on my weapon, it stopped leeching.

Sap of Nightmares is a completely useless node, as it does not allow life leech at all. This is a huge issue and single-handedly makes Acolyte of Chayula a useless ascendancy since there is no reason to focus on chaos damage over lightning or cold damage without the ability to leech. The Sap of Nightmares node synergizes with 3 of the 5 other paths in the ascendancy which all grant chaos damage. If the ascendancy is focused on chaos damage, the node which allows leeching based on chaos damage should function.

There is literally no reason to go Acolyte of Chayula over Invoker without the node which makes chaos damage worth focusing.

With regards to the detailed Skill Sheet, Sap of Nightmares appears to ignore Life Leech entirely, as well as all Explicit Mod sources of Leech from weapons and gloves.

I haven't yet tested Leech sourced from a corrupted amulet enchantment.

Bumping this. Still an issue with weapon mods. Ring leech mods do work though.

i think the bug is leech from weapon don't count in Chaos damage leech.
In my build, life leech from glove is working, mana leech from ring is working. But mana leech from my weapon don't work with chaos damage. It show in description of skill is it only leech from physical damage, and if other equiment have leech, then description will show leech from physical damage have that value, leech from other item still count with chaos damage leech

The problem is that leech mods on weapons are different worded than other leech items. That's why it doesn't work and it should be changed.
