Crash crash crash

I did not have this anywhere since the of the game at 0.1.

But since the launch of 0.3 I just keep crashing. Every day the same thing. I can play for an hour perfectly fine. Then boom crash.

- the game freezes, i try to press buttons nothing happens
- i click some more and windows gives an error to wait or exit
- I exit
- restarting the game wil just perfectly have pauzed the game and nothing has happens since the freeze.
But the map exploration is gone.

If I play for 4-5 hours it just keeps happening every so many minutes. I have a very good computer playing without any lag. But the game just crashes every now and then.


What to do? I'm thinking of uninstalling and installing again maybe that will help?

I do have similar problems since 0.3. Game crashes/freezes, sometimes the game recovers but then the map exploration is gone. Sometimes i doesn't and it crashes fully the game closes itself and GPU driver resets.

You are not alone. No its not you GPX card or system hardware. Are you AMD or Nvidia? I am removing my Under-volt to test that that is not my issue but I have the EXACT same problem Usually during a Ritual or Breach.

Since 0.3.0c Hotfix 2 I have started having this problem a lot lore. 3 times tonight in the space of 2 hours. I just have a driver error and lose my OC setting and card reverts to default. Game restarts and has paused with no death. Played this OC over multiple titles and under extensive testing 12 hours of benchmarks and testing in 3D Mark. Tested under every benchmark and player hours on other games without issue. Something is not right with the game atm.

This happens to me and my wife almost once per map. She uses a fire-based build that will almost get her to restart the game every time during mapping.

Nothing else is more annoying than being forced to close and restart the game hoping that you didn't die from the freeze!

I'm running a AMD RX 7900 XT. And you?

@all, I refer to the following post, which has fixed the bug/issue for me. In the End just install a older version of graphics driver...
Hope it helps some of you aswell to play PoE2 again smoothly and won't get frustrated anymore because of some technical issues :)
