Hello,
I am creating this thread using a new account, as my original account was stolen last Sunday. On Monday, I contacted support to report the issue, and the team kindly blocked the account to prevent any further problems. [Removed by Support] Given that [Removed By Support] along with other information that only the legitimate owner could know, I am finding it difficult to understand why the process of recovering my account is taking so long. Could you please advise me on what further steps, if any, are required on my part? Thank you very much for your attention and assistance. Hello, thank you for your response. However, I have been in this situation throughout the entire week. When I first contacted you, I immediately provided all the required information in order to recover my account. I find it difficult to understand why the recovery process was not completed at that very moment, while we were already exchanging emails.
I fully understand that you may be handling a high volume of reports, but I struggle to comprehend such a delay, especially considering that the requested details were provided almost instantly after your colleague asked for them. |

After nearly a week, 11 emails, and providing every single detail of my account instantly when requested, my account is still blocked. Yesterday I was asked for yet another requirement, which I answered within one minute, and once again the process stopped with no reply. This handling is unacceptable. You already have all the possible information to restore my account. Delaying further and ignoring emails shows negligence and disregard toward the user. I urge you to resolve this matter immediately. |

After a week and more than 4 days without receiving the slightest response from GGG, the disappointment is so great that even the 13 years I have spent playing the game seem insignificant. I find it disrespectful and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of empathy and responsibility towards the users. My account Delirius#2475 has been blocked since last Monday. First, you request some details by email, then after 4 days you ask for another detail, and after that you simply stop replying. I send you another email, and it is ignored. Then, when I come here to the forum, a bot replies with 2 generic phrases that only worsen the already poor image of the “company.” You no longer even respond to the refund request for the money I have in the account—nothing, you do not reply to anything. [Removed by Support] These are procedures that in countless other places are resolved in less than a morning, but here they are made eternal, with simplistic replies that clearly show you don’t even read the emails I send in response to your own. And I know you don’t read them, because if you did, [Removed by Support] Since you are not going to return my account, please unlink it from my STEAM and inform me how to proceed with the refund of the remaining money in the account. And no, I do not want you to reply now with the usual “if you have already written to us, we will get back to you as soon as possible,” because that is false. I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only victim here.
My account and gear were stolen twice Once in February, and the second time in September. This is the last straw. I invested 700 hours and spent over €280 on microtransactions, and now I'm forced to hide my gear on a SECOND game account tied to another Steam account just to protect it. And all they did after all is to lock my account. It's insane — and absolutely unacceptable. A moderator on this forum keeps censoring my posts, even though what happened to me is the same as what's happened to many of you. I need to be heard just like you do. I spent €280 and I can't even play a damn video game — what kind of joke is this??? and about email, they tell me exactly the same shit "protect your account and we ll unlock it" my steam is protect by authentificator, but the website profil account is out of my control because an anonymous litterally set up a email on primary which not mine, what the hell am i supposed to do, since i bought the game on steam and never used log to play it, just automatic connect with steam. i still waiting email answer as you do, and i lose all the love of the game, destroying all the vibe i got since i was playing and have fun with my friends Last edited by Justice#7467 on Sep 15, 2025, 3:37:08 AM

Nothing, it’s normal — with the excuse of being too busy, they can justify their passivity. It took me 13 years and one problem to finally realize what many people had been saying: the neglect and the delay in resolving simple matters are so excessive that they simply have no explanation.
A friend even told me, “It’s impossible for them to take more than one day to solve your problem,” and my reaction when I looked at the forums was one of shock, seeing that there are even people who have been waiting for months—months to resolve an issue that could be fixed with just a single email. If they don’t want to return the account, they should just say so. Hey, once it’s hacked, forget it—no matter how many replies you send or how much you follow up, the minimum waiting time for recovery is a whole league season. Knowing that, I wouldn’t bother anymore or send more emails. I’d just uninstall and be done. But making you waste time as if it were free, or making you feel their indifference and passivity in their replies, is harsher than if they simply told you: “YOU’VE LOST YOUR ACCOUNT.” |

Im in your same situation guys.. from saturday.. got hacked my email, and lost evrything, not only the PoE account, but more, Ubisoft, Riotgames, Escape from tarkov, and more, trying to recover evryone but still from saturday, NO ONE gave me an answer.
this is ridiculous.. in PoE i played since beta, got like 10 supporter packs, spent like 700+ € in game microtransactions.. im going to regret it. if this happen in a blizzard account, they just rollback all your stuff instantly.. no matter what.. Good Job GGG hide this. |

I have the same problem that my account is locked because I logged in somewhere else. This account has been loaded with about 400$ and I have provided all the information as they requested. Unfortunately after about 4 emails asking about the account information, now they are silent. I have waited almost 1 month just to have this problem resolved. So sad
