Mirage Archer + Plasma Blast

Hello,

I have tested using mirage archer + plasma blast gem.
The mirage archer does not use the attack skill as description says it should. Gems allows it to be socketed and all conditions are met however when you roll mirage archer spawns doing nothing no actions are taken by it.

Please clarify whether this is working as intended and mirage archer should not work in case the attack is channeled and if so add that to the gem description.
