First of all, I have to say that this is still the best league (or patch) that has come out for PoE2 so far. And the main reason for that is the new trade system. That’s it—I honestly can’t name anything else among the new features that I actually liked. Some bits and pieces of QoL improvements, maybe, but they’re completely overshadowed by the core problems the game has. And as long as these problems remain, unfortunately, PoE2 can’t be called a good game.
1) This game is a complete technical disaster and an embarrassment from an engineering standpoint, even though it’s still a beta. I mean it seriously. They released a NEW league mechanic, which shows up on every map, and it flashes, glitches, shakes so badly that FPS sometimes drops to 8–10—it’s utterly unplayable. This is without a doubt a slap in the face to the audience. How are we supposed to test something that works so horribly from a technical perspective? 2) Mapping in PoE2 is boring and pointless. Maps feel long, slow, full of backtracking, kiting, rolling around—everything except good linear gameplay. I don’t want to wipe an entire map with a single button. But I also don’t want to kite in circles ten times around an elite. Add to that the absolutely insane debuffs like Temporal Chains and Chilling Ground, which appear literally on every second map. It feels disgusting, sluggish, like torture. I was literally getting physically exhausted from playing this game. 3) The overall concept of “linearity” and “thought-out progression” in the late game is completely absent. We have an endless atlas-sandbox, which gets boring after about 10–15 hours at most. We have some different bosses, which we just farm for currency. And then what? Just to close slow and boring maps a bit faster? The endgame and its meaning need a full rework. I can’t even properly answer the question, “What does it mean to successfully finish a league in PoE2?” There is no answer. The devs seemingly wanted to make it so there’s always something to do—but the problem is, you simply DON’T WANT to do it. I think if GGG implements the same trade system in PoE1 (working cross-platform), I’ll hardly ever touch PoE2 again until its full release. In the end, what we have is a boring and very, very raw game, which also runs terribly in terms of performance. +1 about 2nd point, i also posted a design change suggestion:
(Allow map "completion" to count from various sources) https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3847885 ___

" Yeah, very good point. Personally I like "Atlas" not to be endless. I don't like a feeling that something will never end. |

You write as if your opinion is fact which to me just makes it harder to take your post as constructive feedback.
I actually disagree and have been enjoying this league in endgame more than 0.1 and 0.2. It feels like I have things to chase. I also feel like there are a whole bunch of builds to try and with new trade that door remains open for a lot longer. The best thing that can happen to endgame right now is for atlas skill tree to be reworked and make the passive skill point acquisition linear and then open the atlas to be infinite. Just an idea, not the best one. |

" Because these are the facts TO ME. No problem if you don't like it or think different. |

I would just go back to POE1 if they bring WASD movement. Otherwise i m getting carpal tunnel. There is nothing wrong to play POE1 even after these years. And i must say POE1 has pretty much better talent system. I know that game is complete but still POE2 talents makes no sense.
I ll give one example. I wanna put %15 max hp if chest/body armor has no health modifiers from POE1 talent tree. That was one of good designs.Unfortunately i never ever met a single proper talent notable like that. Regards. |

" Look, youre just a bit of a drama queen. Every point you’ve made is blown way out of proportion - “horrible” this and “terrible” that. You spent time really emphasising how bad you are feeling lol, it’s a video game and you act like your entire week is ruined. I get it, there are technical issues however it is not an engineering embarrassment as you’ve put it, and I don’t get anywhere near as low as the fps you’ve stated - you may need a system upgrade. The endgame definitely needs some love but mapping is not pointless - you progress, you get loot, you fight bosses, you collect splinters, you run content outside of maps, you craft gear, what are you even on about pointless?? Poe1 is exactly the same in that regard but you put that game on a pedestal. And overall the changes we got in my opinion are not overshadowed by these issues. Actually, to me, the good far outweighs the bad. My suggestion to your “feedback” is don’t play until release as you’ve mentioned. Come back at release and if the game isn’t for you then, you’ll probably know for sure that you’re just not a poe2 enjoyer. Also, try adding some suggestions rather than weeping about your terrible experience. |

" Am I dedicated to you or why you think you can dictate me what I should do and what I shouldn't? I don't care about your opinion on my opinion. I post my feelings in the feedback section. Maybe GGG will see it, maybe no. It's okay both ways. I'm okay with your perception of the game. If you're not with mine - I don't really care. Mind your own xp.
