My character was restored by GGG, but my newly acquired Headhunter belt and OP support gems is gone!

Hey Exiles,

I'm writing this in absolute disbelief and frustration. Last night, after a long grind, I finally got my Headhunter belt! I logged off feeling amazing, only to log in today and find my seasonal character was completely gone.

The good news: GGG was super fast to respond and restored my character. Seriously, big props to them for the quick reaction time.

The bad news: The game is now asking me to rename my character, saying the original name is already in use. Even worse, all of my equipped gear, including my brand-new Headhunter, is missing. My character is now with a level 1 crude bow. When the recovery was done, I was asked to rename my existing character, but it turns out the character name wasn't being taken.

My PoE 2 Ninja profile still shows my gear, which gives me hope that the data is still out there somewhere.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I've already submitted a follow-up ticket with GGG, but I'm hoping the community can shed some light on this, or maybe a GGG dev will see this and give me compensation.

I'm a dedicated player, and this bug is just heartbreaking. Any advice or visibility on this would be a huge help!
