Muting is getting a little extreme

Someone in chat was complaining about Navali being stuck on the waypoint, and I joked "I thought Putin killed Navali in prison?", and I got a mute for 256 hours. That's like 11 days.

Therapeutically, it's probably a good thing to take an 11 day break from global 1, but seriously, for that comment?

I know, it was incredibly politically insensitive and disrespectful to an honorable man who died for freedom, and it probably does violate the TOS, but it just rolled off my tongue and seemed harmless at the time. Discipline was probably warranted.

I think they scale up mute time periods the more you get muted because ngl, I've been muted before (I can't help myself, I have a sick sense of humor), but it was so long ago, and that one was only for 5 days. And it's not like I'm using hate speech or threatening anyone, I'm just making jokes in poor taste. Eleven days for this one seems disproportionate.
