So, the new Sprint mechanic has a major flaw.

I've tested this over a few characters now, and there is a huge flaw with the sprint mechanic that comes with it being bound to dodge roll.

If you dodge roll, and hold onto the spacebar just a HAIR too long, you go into a sprint and get knocked down by monsters.

The issue is having the two bound together.

Dodge roll is a mechanic to get away from packs of monsters when you are surrounded.

Sprint is a mechanic to move quickly but punishes you if you get hit by a monster.

Having the two bound together means you might dodge roll, and before the sprint animation even starts up, you get knocked down and now are a monster pinata.

Successive dodge rolls aren't an issue from back in 0.2.0 because both are evasive and you can cancel out of it quickly.

But the dodge into sprint animation happens so quickly, you can just be trying to evade with multiple dodge rolls and then get wrecked.

Please consider giving sprint its own binding in 0.4.0.

To be clear: I don't love the current design and fully support a separate key and/or unbinding Sprint from Dodge Roll.

That said, Sprint doesn't start until ~0.5s in my experience, which is quite a bit more than a HAIR when it comes to your average keypress (which should be closer to 0.05s). Maybe they will get around to adjusting this design, but until then you can definitely help yourself I think by just lifting your finger a bit faster.

Here's some footage where I bound my spacebar press/release events to an on-screen stopwatch to show how long you need to hold before you Sprint.

This would make controller a nightmare unless you play very limited amount of builds. My warrior is already short 1 button i cant even press so i just cant use it. auto attack is on a because its really strong but whenever there is loot on the ground you cant attack with auto attack because it will just loot.

I had a rotator cuff injury then a wrist injury a while after that and keyboard/mouse is painful.
Im sure there are a lot of people with more serious disabilities that are in the same boat.
