Act 3, water on map does not animate and go away when draining

This was a really cool visual effect where the map changed and the water drained when you flipped the switch. Now, as of 0.3, there is no animation. It opens your map and nothing happens.
If you open it again, later, you can watch it drain. Seems like there is a bug where it doesn't actively start draining when it should? IGN: SoulCinder Last bumped on Mar 21, 2026, 2:43:02 PM

Bump. Had the same/similar problem, except I never got to watch. It was not drained when it should be, then next time was finished draining. No animation played.
Only thing I can think of is I warped back to town to check for dialogue before warping back and pulling the lever. Not sure if relevant. On DX12 with a 3060Ti. I played through the campaign twice, in the same way, on the same machine.
With one character, the animation played immediately after flipping the switch. With the other, the animation didn't play until I closed and reopened the map. |

I'm also experiencing this issue on ever character I have created for the last 3-4 months.
