2H spears?..

tl;dr: For the sake of it, I would like to have option to use spears (or other polearms) as two-handed weapon


Might be a wild thought, but I think there is a chance someone will back me up no it. I am a fan of polearm weapon, and I am very happy that we finally have spears in PoE. Now my next wish about polearms here is an option to weild it in 2 hands.
In PoE1 we had some weapons that are like halberts, and those are considered axes. We have no idea at the moment what are the plans for axes in PoE2, but I would like to see some 2h polearms in the game, halberts, lances and so on.
That got me thinking that it could be fun to have spears as 2H as well. And it seems like a fun keystone option to me. Maybe with it spears would require 2H, and have some benefits and limitations from it? It could be any of those:
- More damage with spears
- Spears cannot be thrown
- Spears can be used with skills that require quarterstaves

This sounds cool to me. Not even sure it is a good idea, but throwing it out there to see if anyone feels the same way.
