Are you drowning in 15 waystones? Are drops rarer now?

During 0.2 I remember that sometime after getting into 15s i end up drowning in 15s waystones which allows me a lot of choice for which to max out and use.

Currently I am only using 6 affix t15s for towers since tower buffs are massive, I want to get some atlas points but I dont have enough waystones to gamble that they will have 6 affixes that arent horrible.

Now that waystones only bring negatives(The positives on top are genuinely not noticeable), sorting through decent waystones

If i get things like:

Monster attack speed/crit+crid damage
+
monster damage/extra elemental damage

i pretty much avoid it since it risks one shots and would only use it to clear some mid lvl 79 map on a way to a tower.


This is a similar problem I had in 0.2, i dont feel any benefits with maxing out my waystones and risking losing an entire map due to some one shot.

I will use 6 affix t15s in the future to get atlas boss points but after that, I genuinely dont feel any benefit to taking such a major risk as to use a 6 affix waystone, the risk doesnt feel its rewarded because even if there's some quantity/rarity drop, it simply isnt noticeable.
And since t15s waystones feel rarer, it makes it even harder since you arent gonna risk a good map with some horrible affix waystone like that.

One key lesson here would be that using a 6 affix waystone on towers, feels very rewarding and clear to me, I always use 6 affixes on them because the benefits are enormous and tangible.
