Why This Build Works

The strength of this build lies in its overlapping synergies.

Core Weapon Setup – Widowhail Bow and Quiver
The Widowhail bow and quiver combination provides exceptional offensive scaling. Together they grant +8 to Spark, nearly 200% increased projectile speed, substantial critical strike chance, and up to 4 pierces. On their own, these bonuses already make Spark extremely powerful.

Projectile Speed Scaling – Acceleration 3 Support
The interaction becomes even stronger with the new Acceleration 3 Support Gem. This gem not only scales damage with projectile speed but also applies increased damage based on that same stat. Because Spark can pierce multiple times, each projectile effectively benefits from this multiplier several times over, resulting in a much higher effective DPS than the tooltip suggests.

Critical Strike Mechanics – Maligaro’s Restraint & Pinpoint Critical
The build further leverages critical strikes through Maligaro’s Restraint gloves, which provide a fixed 250% critical multiplier. Ordinarily, Pinpoint Critical Support reduces crit multi, but in this setup the penalty is overridden by the gloves. The result is exceptionally high crit chance paired with massive crit damage scaling.

Synergy with Spark’s Design
Spark naturally benefits from multiple scaling angles, though most builds lack the passive points to invest in them all. This configuration provides large amounts of scaling “for free” through gear and supports, leaving passive points available for additional investment — including critical strike scaling, which the Stormweaver ascendancy does not normally emphasize.

Defensive Layers
The efficiency of the offensive core allows for robust defenses as well:

Over 9,000 Energy Shield via Chaos Inoculation

Immunity to chaos damage, poison, and bleed

Reliable freezes enabled by Call of the Brotherhood

Stormweaver ascendancy converting cold damage to also inflict shock, enhancing both damage and utility

Overall: This setup creates a Spark Stormweaver that is fast, resilient, and versatile. Damage scaling is achieved from multiple directions without excessive passive point investment, while strong defensive layering ensures the build remains safe and consistent in endgame content.
