health flask wont work and cant apply shock

i cant figure out how to fick my lighting arrow to shock it doesnt anymore. and my healt flask is full but i cant heal plz help

Is this for PoE 1 or PoE 2? You're posting in PoE 1 forums.

In both games, Shock is scaled off the hit damage (with some other numbers) and the enemy's HP. The more enemy's HP goes up, the more damage you need to shock. Can go into more details, but depends which game you're talking about and I'm assuming this is meant for PoE 2.

When you press the life flask, what happens? Doesn't let you use it? Or it consumes the charges and HP doesn't go up? Could be a number of reasons like you allocated Vaal Pact if PoE 2. Or you're wearing Killjoy unique gloves that prevent life flask usage.

All I can do is make a bunch of assumptions here.
The most fundamental being that this is about PoE2.

Are you confusing Shock (increases damage taken) with Electrocute (prevents actions)?
Were you using the unique gloves Kitoko's Current? These gloves allow Lightning Damage to apply to Electrocution buildup, without removing the ability to apply Shock.

Are you using a CI build from before 0.3.0? The new update removed "Life Flasks apply to Energy Shield instead" from Eternal Youth, so you don't have a simple method for making Life Flasks apply to Energy Shield now.
