Potential visual bug; Fungal Proliferator

The fungal proliferator has a ground projectile that spawns exploding mushrooms. Something is going on with the mushrooms that makes them not appear at all or extremely faint. I have died countless times to them exploding when there is nothing on the ground. Please investigate.
