Please tone down the number of chilled ground/temporal chains modifiers
The number of these modifiers is way over tuned. And I'm not an ex PoE1 guy who wants to be moving at lightspeed through the maps. I totally get that they want a slower pace for PoE2, and I am one of the ones that likes that. I prefer gameplay that I have to think about, so I get slowing the pace down a bit.
So yeah, I'm not against it, it's just a little over tuned. Well over half of my t15 maps so far have 1 of those 2 modifiers on them. If you add enfeeble onto that, which isn't a move speed thing, but still pretty punishing, it's a lot. So I hope they either lower the impact of these modifiers or the frequency of them. And I totally get more reward equals higher risk, but are t15 maps more rewarding in 0.3? Maybe they are, but either way, they're so many different things you can add to or take away from the player to increase risk, it's frustrating that these 2 in particular are making up the vast majority given how punishing they are. yeah, chill ground + temporal chains combined gives -60% ms, ie 2.5x times slower.
While DeadEye have +100-200% ms they feel nothing for those -60%, other classes may face much harsh gameplay impact. Having +haste aura or boots which provide slow resistance whould be nice, yet haste are only for DeadEye and boots just lack those feature. |

" Totally agree. And I get it's a balance issue. I don't know about each specific case, but I think most players agree that unless you're using unique boots in endgame which are required for a certain build, you are getting as close to maxed out move speed on boots all the time. Any rare boot below 20% is basically garbage. And so it's a balance. If you're going to inflict heavy punishments, we better get really good rewards. Meaning those maps better have a much higher rarity percentage and/or the unique boots that are build defining better be powerful. And maybe that is the design philosophy, and players just aren't noticing, which is possible, but it's still worth bringing up. |

We're already PAINFULLY slow in PoE2, they need to buff MS and remove these modifiers. Also, make the maps and areas smaller, their size makes no sense. |

It is so annoying playing warrior. I am in endgame lvl 84 right now and I have to stop now. It just isn't fun anymore. All those slow effects are a pain in the ass for melee, especially when you play warrior. Most attacks are really slow. You can grab a drink when you get frozen or slowed. This needs to be changed or you have to get a buff to counter those effects. |
