Engame Atlas Map with friends

I have a question regarding the endgame: Is it planned that when playing in a group, Atlas maps will count for all players and not only for the one who has placed a watchstone?
More generally, are there any changes or new features planned for upcoming patches that would make playing the endgame with friends easier, so that Atlas exploration doesn’t have to be done alone?
