Melee and monster mods
One of the problems with melee is that almost every monster affects area around it. Ranged playstyle can avoid but face-to-face not. Mods on monsters should be revamped so that some of them work like a donut mana drain or some kind of middle range mortars. If You also want us to engage monsters more maybe monsters can have different attacks depending on distance from player so for example if you're close to monster some of them will take out club that its weaker than cannon that it uses in range and also if you attack it in melee while it's holding a cannon and didn't manage to change weapon yet it, the monster will get stunned.
