My personal feedback about skill gems and end-game
I’m really enjoying the game,
and it’s definitely getting better with each update! That said, I wanted to share some thoughts on a couple of things that could make it even more awesome @ 1. We Need More Skill Gems and Supports Right now, there just aren’t enough skill gems to play around with, so most of us end up running the same builds and skills over and over. Especially early on, you’re kinda stuck with the same handful of options, which gets old fast. It feels like the game’s holding back on letting us experiment. Even with some new skill supports, without fresh skill gems to pair them with, the meta feels a bit stale. I’d love to see more variety to spark some wild build ideas and let theorycrafters like me go nuts! @ 2. The End-Game Needs Some Love The end-game is a bit of a mess, to be honest... it feels confusing and doesn’t really pull you in. If you’re a Path of Exile veteran, you might get the hang of the Atlas in PoE2, but for newer players (and I know PoE2 is trying to bring in a broader crowd), it’s overwhelming. There’s no clear guide or hook to keep you invested, and I’ve seen friends drop the game because of it. The 4 acts are solid! Act 4 is especially cool—but the interludes feel like filler content that doesn’t quite hit the mark. Then, when you hit the Atlas, the end-game just feels… empty. There’s no clear goal or exciting challenge to chase, and that makes it hard to stay motivated. I get that freedom is a big part of the game, but without something to aim for, the end-game kinda falls flat. Honestly, I’m having more fun rerolling a new character and replaying the campaign than grinding the Atlas Last bumped on Sep 9, 2025, 5:53:49 AM
