Let's talk about ENDGAME, maps and build limitations

I was level 94.5 and I haven't seen a single citadel. (Found it after actually just going into a single direction, now lvl95.5)

I got 8.5k ES and I still get one shot by some monsters, well specifically if there is 3-5 laser guys from abyss spawned at the same time.

Maybe invert the towers too, if you do towers, you get character buff, NOT the surrounding area.




for build limitations, c'mon? I thought this game was about freedom building? Everyone's using LA and deadeye. Everyone's afraid of doing off-meta builds because it might disable them to a comfy end-game. I personally still use monk but you can see how low the population are.

As for ascendency, it doesn't feel any special. It literally defines a single build and that's it. when I see ascendency, I see it more as a mini dps boost, more than its actual character.

I am rocking summoner warrior focusing on armor + life + ES + mana and it is working well enough. No issue rolling through tier 15 maps, abysses included. I found my citadels too. On 200% rarity.

Is it going to be as good as a Deadeye? Nope. Is it fun and cheap? Yes.
I have 2K6 hp and i'm not getting one shot untill i play a 6mods with too much damage mods.

I have way better survivability since i got reduced critical bonus damage.

Did you cap your chaos res ? (chaos deal double damage vs ES)

And for citadels, go in straight line without focus on tower juicing, you will find them.

yes that's the point, if you only focus on mapping, you won't find citadel, which imo is a bad mechanic? idk how to solve it personally but that's what i've noticed.

I got CI, and I've mega stacked stun threshold, you can also look for reddit for some results, but i feel like they need to adjust the laser/spear riding mobs from abyss. When I'm still not one shotting them it is a risky endeavor. They are also anti melee.

Like, idk what kind of direction they want to make, they said souls like difficulty, but it feels like the requirement to actually avoiding mechanics is just one shotting everything instead of feeling actual difficulty.

Ha yes, melee, i tryed monk, i died on beach x)

Not being able to attack while moving in melee just don't work for me so i wait to see what they do with melee balance and future weapons before retry it.

And about mapping, i noticed that i was spending too much time trying to optimise it instead of running maps, so now i just alch & go. No 6 mods, no juicing with tower chasing, just old school mapping and it's funnier / more profitable. (i still go for tower if it's near my path for get my del + breach but not much)
