Anyone afraid 0.3 might be too good and crafting will get nerfed?

0.3 honestly feels so good, not only the essences but abyssal crafting is literally godsend for casual players (aka not needing some ultimate perfect 6/6 piece)

This is nothing compared to PoE1, if anything I expect more and more options for crafting to appear. I'd say PoE2 crafting is still too confusing to a complete newcomer and GGG wanted PoE2 to be more accessible to new players.
I'd say that game lacks some "quests" that teach how to use some crafting perhaps. For example Rog could give a quest explaining the good parts of recombinator, like giving a few items and then instructing on how to use it and explain some benefits of it. Because from quite a few people I've heard "why even bother using it", and its reasonable because on the surface that thing seems like a waste of time. ___

" I've had 0 successful recombs this league and I've used it about 20+ times now, usually between 5-20% success estimate. Unlucky for sure, but it just makes it feel like an item-deleter. I am never excited to use the recombinator but it's still the best way to "build" an item. As for crafting now - the greater/perfect currencies are awesome. With abyss and essence in the mix, you can pretty easily "build" some decent gear if you want to grind for it and I'm all for it. I've dropped 800+ basic exalts and I only have 9 in my ssf stash right now lol. Slamming has never been better. |

Pretty sure they tone it down. Right now it's akin to harvest crafting, PoE2 version. I don't think it was intended or maybe they wanted people to go crazy for a league.

" I dont think the devs intend to make a reskined poe1 and I am thankful for it, poe2 is a different game and I doubt they ever plan to make crafting as easy as poe1. More importantly, the difference between a casual crafter who just wants a 4 top tier affix items vs some advanced person using a gazzillion omens to make some perfect 6/6 affix item is enormous. This update was a huge success because for your average casual, you can now get your resistances sorted and get a few really good pieces with basic crafting that doesnt even require omens.
