Sound design is getting excessively spammy in the game.

One of the worst things any game can do, and that has made otherwise amazing games a very bad experience for me in the past, is having sounds that are too repetitive (look at almost any anime game where the character repeats the exact same sound any time you use a skill that you're expected to spam) to the point of drowning out the music and any other sounds.

Fortunately, for PoE2 this isn't the case yet, but I've started noticing, last league with enemies such as Vaal mages and some of the iron guard variants, Delwyn constantly speaking when wisps appeared, and in the latest patch with rolling inside towns, that the game is in a quick path to become annoying when it comes to spamming sound effects and voice lines.

I know that if this somehow doesn't get drowned below all the complaints that the game is "too hard" (lol) at least one person who thinks they're too smart will say "just reduce voice and sound effects volume", but that's not a good solution at all. The game is very dependent on sound cues, which is exactly why I wouldn't like it to get more annoying with sounds, and I'd personally like to have an option to reduce these sort of sounds or make them more varied as to avoid hearing the same thing spammed hundreds of times per map, or any time I'm stuck in town.

I wholeheartedly support this take, I ve made a plenty of posts about these issues.

They'll sort it out, I believe.
After all, we got a victory with Time of Need being disabled in towns, haha.

The most annoying for me is character idle/attack voice lines. I started playing with dialogue muted because of the "a beautiful murder" and similar from the witch every 5 minutes

These audio things are meant to add flavour, but I guess it's hard to find a balance for them to be entertaining, not annoying.
