Red Spidersilk Gemling

Quick showcase at level 75 - https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2562298697 My build was inspired by the ailment magnitude nodes on the passive tree and attempting to get them to maximize their value in a more multiplicative way. It also looks really cool with the Arachnamagus cosmetics where you appear to be a spider slinging flaming silk at everything. This build is lots of fun and plays on some unique item synergies. The basis of this build is to gather plaguefinger (all damage contributes to poison, chance to poison on hit), venopuncture (bleeding magnitude, chance to bleed on hit), icefang (poison magnitude, chance to poison on hit), and Birth of Fury (ignited ground on step) as soon as you can. These together cause your attacks to bleed, burn, and poison anything that gets touched, all of which scale on base physical damage and ailment magnitude. Since all hit damage contributes to poison due to plaguefinger, chernobog's scales both ignite and poison damage. Herald of blood and Herald of plague introduce screen clearing AOE, and you can watch a single unit get hit and then the whole pack turns green and dies. POB clearly can't calculate the build properly because this melts everything, just watch out for the lag cause your screen is going to be exploding and burning. Defenses come from decent hp, decent ES, a little armor, resistances, and block. The main skills are both starter skills, whirling slash and twister are tier 1, so you can quickly start playing the way you will play in endgame, but you will have to aim your twisters until you can get Salvo. Just use whirling slash 3 times then twister, and repeat. For the tree, build out to get all the close to start nodes and then up to the attribute star before running for the spear group. After that fill in the tree from closest to start to end only getting ailment nodes after some base uniques. A spear with mana leech can prevent all mana woes in midgame, but you can get rid of it later when you have high int and high mana from items. You'll also regen pretty quick anyway, so can just stop for a moment to regen to full or pop a mana pot. You'll light up the screen with red spinning thread that hits hard, then melts the enemy with bleeding, fire, and poison. I am not a streamer or anything but got some recording software and tried to make a quick showcase on twitch for the build. I experienced more lag than usual, but I think that was the recording software biting me. I also added the link to the original post.
