Viridian Wildwoods becoming unexplorable upon completion makes no sense
I really try to enjoy the endgame as much as possible but it is genuinely so annoying that whenever Viridian Wildwoods is marked as completed in-game you suddenly cannot traverse it like you could prior to completion. It makes it so you no longer can wade through the darkness so you are effectively forced to run around like a chicken with your head cut off purposefully ignoring completion trying to find every omen altar and I do not understand why it is designed this way.
Punishing the player for finding a map that is slightly harder to find than most with no minimap, no way to find omen altars reliably outside of sprinting everywhere praying you see one AND punishing them for completing it too early on accident is absurd, comical and sums up the endgame for this game overall quite nicely. It's punishing for seemingly no reason. Last edited by Sumiku#4511 on Sep 8, 2025, 7:36:30 PM Last bumped on Sep 8, 2025, 7:47:35 PM

You WILL suffer through GGGs forced friction thinly veiled as depth and you WILL sit there and be told to "git gud" or that you have a "skill issue" by someone who owns at least 10 supporter packs, no matter your grievance
And you will like it |

Yeah, I do expect a few people to come in here and unironically argue that, tbh. It's frustrating because in this case I would argue it's just not a skill issue and genuinely is arguably bad design. The endgame, which has a primary focus on speed blitzing maps and completing them, punishes the player... for speed blitzing a map and completing it. It just feels so counterintuitive to the design of the endgame, and I genuinely can't comprehend why it's designed in this way.
