[Build of the Week] - The Hammer Slam Titan - Crush Everything!
This is my very first original build in Path of Exile 2: The Titan Hammer Slam! A Warrior with the Titan ascendancy, using Forge Hammer and Leap Slam, together with Aftershock and Fissures interactions.
I built this one completely blind, solo self-found, while progressing through the campaign. For this league I decided not to check any guides or streamers, only the trailer, and go for a totally independent run with a class I had never played before the Warrior. The result honestly surprised me: this turned out to be the most fun build I’ve played so far, i've got some good hours since the launch in 0.1, did the meta builds (Att.Stacker, Shockburst) but this was by far my best experience yet! For the endgame, the highlight is the passive Lay Siege + Chernobog's Tower Shield, a unique that grants +1% fire damage per block chance — a huge DPS boost. Right now it costs around 60–70 exalts, which is cheap for the power it gives. Overall, the build requires very little investment. All you need are capped resistances, some strength, and as much physical damage as possible on your weapon. I only bought Chernobog once I was already mapping. Including perfect jewels, Chernobog, and other gear, I’d say the total investment is about 3 Divines or less, since prices have dropped a lot. As I said, I haven't compared it to other builds or even researched what other people are doing, but I consider this build to be very fast! I do T15 maps in 5-6 minutes, killing bosses easily, often before they can even recover from the stun. Here's my Youtube video guide and build showcase (T15 with all contents + Abyss Depths + T1 Xesht and King of the Mists): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FjZGeeeJSs Here's my Written Planner on Mobalytics: https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/3bfa1426-bdfc-4e5d-8c26-3a80c55e1035/builds/06970890-8237-4236-a2a0-78af6133f0be Honestly, I can't even say how much DPS this build actually provides, since, as I said, I built it myself and improvised along the way, but it can handle all the content with ease. There's room for improvement, as it's a work in progress. But I can say it's one of the most fun builds I've ever played!
