BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD MAGE GOD

Have you ever wanted to enjoy deleting packs of mobs off screen while testing if your GPU can heat your cold winter room all by itself?

Welcome to the build guide for my PoE 2 0.3 Blackflame covenant bloodmage build that makes good use of the brand new "palm of the dreamer" unique sceptre to clear entire packs of mobs as fast as you can say "MY EXPEEEES!!!"

This here is the brand new unique sceptre "Palm of the Dreamer" that has made this build so fun to play. It's a powerful item that grants you chaos resistance in the form of its "impurity" skill, 27% of your damage as extra chaos damage AND granting you the permanent effect of the "Dreaming Gloom Shrine" which makes enemies you kill explode, dealing 25% of their HP as a large AOE. If you ever played PoE1 back during Legion, you'd know that this effect is VERY desirable to mapping players.

Overview

this build is kind of a glass cannon build, despite having over 3k hp and 2.3 k energy shield, you still want the monsters to turn to dust before they have the time to gnaw away at your hp pool. We achieve this by simply covering the screen in so many fireballs that would make a Touhou boss jealous. The mobs cant hurt you if they are too busy entering walking ghost phase and taking their friends with them on a 21 for 1 deal to my XP bar. NOTE : this build is HEAVILY dependent upon an expensive, brand new unique that may or may not be "Visioned™"

Items of importance

While the big shiny item this build makes use of it the new "Palm of the Dreamer" Secptre, the only other unique items this build uses are,

the Unique "Snakepit" ring in the left ring slot : to make our fireballs fork upon hitting anything

as well as 3 unique charms that help us in various situations. Specifically, The unique charms are

"The Fall Of The Axe" : which gives us onslaught whenever we are affected by a slow.

"Rite of Passage" : with the Spirit of the Serpent mod which gives us a massive damage boost as well as rarity upon killing rare or Unique enemies.

"Nascent Hope" : to give us good survivability in case we get hit with a freeze.

Lastly we use the new

"Heart of the well" : diamond jewel with the following mods

Increased Skill Speed
Recover % max mana on kill
Recover % max health on kill
Gain % of damage as extra chaos damage

Outside of these items all other gear pieces are rare. Main stats on these pieces are in general rank of importance

Level to spell skills (Specifically +5 on wand and +3 on necklace)
Maximum Life on every gear piece you can possibly have
Movement speed on boots
Resistances
Rarity if you want to Be greedy
make sure your body is ES base to profit off of Bloodmages "Crimson power" notable

Why are there so many fireballs???

We are able to make many fireballs appear due to the wildshards support gem (Sione's temper unique gem upon reaching level 65) as well as snakepit which makes our fireball projectiles fork upon hitting anything. in 0.3 GGG has added a new system called "elemental infusions", thankfully there is an infusion for the fireball spell that makes each fireball projectile fired branch into even more projectiles upon coming into contact with anything. This makes our entire screen fill up with fireballs through use of "Living bomb" and "Cast on critical" linked with "Snap" to generate these fire infusions at a constant rate. This leads to a constant stream of death for anything that would come within a screen radius of you!

Our single target skill is Ember Fusillade, Back in 0.1 if you told me i'd be using this skill in a build, I would have laughed in your face. GGG has pulled a crazy move in making alot of skills actually viable now (hats off to them, they are real as hell for that). Using a bunch of gem level stacking as well as wildshards to make this skill fire like a blunderbuss, you can melt bosses with little to no issue.

Feel free to leave and questions below and i'll answer them best I can. Thanks for viewing!
