Network ping spikes
Randomly started happening where instances will receive massive network spikes, making the game unplayable. Some instances are perfectly fine but after a map and going into hideout, my network will spike making everything super laggy (vice versa, fine in hideout, open map lots of lag). I am playing on ethernet and I changed my game network to predictive but the issues still occurs. sometimes when I exit the game the issue fixes itself but once I go into a new instance it happens again. This issue now happens in POE 1 too. PLEASE GGG.

If your preferred gateway is full, the game will offload you somewhere """nearby""" to avoid placing you in a queue. Its logic for deciding which fallback gateway to select is... rather inscrutable.
When you get a 'bad' instance, press Tab and check which gateway you're currently playing on. If the issue is caused by being redirected, it might make more sense to manually select an alternative gateway rather than attempting to play on one that's full and the servers sending you wherever. Idk If that's it because my preferred gateway is California and in the map that I'm having issues in, it still says California so I don't think its booting me out.
