Cannot trade or whisper- it’s greyed out completely

I am playing on Xbox series S and I havnt been able to trade, whisper or receive any invites

When I click on someone to trade it’s completly greyed out - I’ve checked all my settings and I have cross play enabled -and have double check all settings
I put a bow up for sale for 1Div and was able to invite the person but once they came to my hideout - I wasnt able to trade and I couldn’t even whisper them to let them know and I wasn’t receiving any invites from them

I’m able to invite a friend by their character name and I am shown as a friend in their socials but it’s showing I have no one in my socials and unable to trade with anyone
