Please confirm Reinforced Barrier Notable Interaction

So Reinforced Barrier States:

*20% increased maximum Energy Shield
*Defend with 120% of Armour while not on Low Energy Shield

If I have no energy shield, I've been told that I am neither on full nor low energy shield.

If that is correct, does that mean that if I have no energy shield (0/0) that the second line of defending with 120% armour will work?

Thank you for clarifying this!

Anyone? Or - is there a better sub-forum to ask this?
As I understand, if you out of shield - you tank everything with your REGULAR armor%. I.e. while your shield is yet strong, you also prevent more damage to it, based on your armor, but once shield is damaged enough - you stuck with your regular armor values.

I am also looking for a proper answer to this question.
According to pob it's exactly like you assumed.
I guess Nocturnal3111 didn't understand what you are asking.
Yeah they did misunderstand.

Glad I'm not the only one - still hoping for some GGG input!
I don't know the answer but I know some people test stuff like this by allocating the nodes onto low level white amulets and then do A B testing in low level areas while watching how much a mob hits them for.

Eg. bring a level 2 azure amulet with the notable put on it using the delirium emotions and then put on 50 armor and go let a Knight slap you up in the cemetery and make note of how much damage he does each time (easier to track if you have 0 life regen).

Then you put on the amulet and if there's significant differences in the damage being received, you can assume that you're seeing the benefit of having 120% increased armour (or not, if there is no difference).
