Campaign and Endgame changes that most players would love
Hi, I would love to share my conclusions about 0.3.0 and what I would like to see in later updates.
campaign We all know that campaign is mostly just one time experience, after one or two completion we just want to rush it as soon as possible ACT1 Our first ritual in Freythorn is such a badass area, would be awesome if we will know locations of those 3 small rituals on minimap on beginning or when we are a close to them. Manor Ramparts are pretty to long, density of monsters are great there and I as speedruning acts don't have that much problem with this locations I heard that some ppl facing little wall there. ACT2 Would be good to have Trial of Sekhemas open straight when we get Barya, that would help in endgame too when we want to buy taxi for 4th asc. Bone pit and Mastodon Badlands in my opinion should have higher density of mobs, when splitting in party for fast game progress, one player who facing those locations are always behind with lvl. ACT3 Little higher drop rate of heart for 2 passive points, sometimes it drops like never and backtracking is pretty annoying. Please do something with Portal Gate after beating temple of kopec, for example add button on map to change realms without going through gate. ACT4 AND INTERLUDES I know its one time experience but they are too long, huge areas again, You guys compressed act 3 and it's awesome, why did same mistakes again. early endgame First impression of endgame should have higher priority. Here we start facing most encounters and mechanics. SPRINT Like guys, best mechanic ever in Hack'n'slash, but it's kinda goofy. When You add sprint to game I think You forgot about hitboxes of walls and doors, when I running through doors or small tunnels my character is hitting everything with elbows, please make some objects more sprint friendly MAP AND ATLAS PROGRESS Corruption can be rare on map sometimes, adding more that CORE corruption but with lesser spread on map should be in my opinion less annoying but more enjoyable to do Your atlas points. And if we in atlas, of course I (and hope most players) don't want to have same atlas like in PoE1, maybe a little close but I want two different games but with same enjoyability. What I mean is little living atlas, like adding some stones in atlas socket, maybe magic/rare/unique stones what can change our atlas like timeless jewels, adding to every point some upgrades and downgrades, making more flexible mapping etc. PINNACLE CONTENT Really adding infinity attempts to bosses on 1st lvl without losing XP is like diablo like experience. Just add something like after You died 2-3 times, only drop You have from boss is atlas points and that's it. We don't want over hard game but a little challenging. late endgame Core of every life service games, place where we want to spend part of our life. I know its 0.3.0 so I don't want to talk about add this add that. But I have some special requests that I would love to see. ATLAS Small stuff but should be loved by most players, please add pages in atlas like in PoE1, I know atlas in PoE2 is small atm but if I want full pack size/azmerian wisps and essences/exiled farm i have to respec points every time. Small thing but enjoyable for sure. CAMPAIGN Campaign in late endgame? YES! Its more important than You think because what we gonna do if we finish our first content killer? We do another (or most of us). We still gonna do campaign, it's core of this game, but why not to add all 24 passives points, resistances, attributes, flask and charm bonuses from campaign straight to new character. We still gonna do campaing but this would be awesome a really enjoyable. We did it anyway and will do next league isn't it? We are players and we are testers same way, love to breaking game with builds and have 2fps or crashes, but also would love to fix or making game more comfortable while playing. It's not about what is missing in endgame, its what can be add or fixed in actual gameplay. Thank You and hope You came here. If it were up to me, you couldn't get ascension without being solo.
Having to pay people to carry 4th lab means to me, that you don't deserve it. On act 3. I intentionally leave a bunch of crap on the ground because i dont want to deal with the gates. Infinite tries on the first pinnacle encounter seems fine to me. It helps new people learn. If they aren't ready for it im fairly certain they fail if they go back to town. " Of course first attempts on trials should be solo. But when I making 3rd or more characters per league i don't want to waste time on trial and start doing strats as soon as possible. Infinity attempts its fine but if You lack with skills or gear game should take something from player. If you are not ready then pay for this. |

Rushing to an endgame strat makes you miss out on what the game actually is.
Divines/hr stock market simulator mindset is what causes most of the issues in this game. Rip all the fun ssf farming strats in poe1. |

" Just for You to know. Trust me I played this all locations hundreds times, I enjoyed all content, I listen all texts, background music and look at all locations design. That's why ppl speedruning stuff, that's why ppl want to rush something because they did this stuff hundreds times bro. We have different view about some stuff, and that's all right, but if You don't want to understand someone stop blaming him. |
