Survivability in T15 with Amazon

So I'm quite impressed recently with my Zon's survivability in T15 in 0.3. I'm playing mostly melee with Primal Strikes as my main damage with LS as my poking ability. Level 90 btw

Not sure if the Deflection made a difference. Or there's improvements in Evasion. I have 6% armor (which means nothing) and 45 ES (also nothing lol), 52% evasion, 74% deflect chance and 44% damage prevention from deflection. 2k HP

Last season in 0.2, I was running pure Evasion and man, the one shots are wild. When I switched to Evasion/ES hybrid in 0.2 my survivability was better but not as GREAT as in 0.3.

My current Res is 75% and Chaos at 55% (with charm it's 73%). I'm running towards mobs, chilled ground, poison dots from Abyss, 30% crit dmg bonus, 290% crit chance mods, irradiated. My damage isn't broken but good enough to kill mobs but really no issue surviving.

I'm wondering two things:
- How's melee survivability in endgame
- How's deflection working for you

I died in hardcore last night at level 87. I felt like damage was pretty reasonable until I started playing in the abyss. I had the beefiest armor and evasion build I could dream up and nothing in the game came close to killing me until I ran a modest +15 last night... mind you i had done plenty prior. Some random demon just 1 shot me which seemed pretty brutal for the build I was running.

I felt everything was pretty good this play through except those brutal abyss rares that are now in each zone.


If I do decide to play again this season I'll be avoiding the abyss zones completely. I did have fun though on the journey up until the last few days of lagging randomly and my 1 shot death.
