Necromancer Starting Gem Bug

I pick up a weapon that gives me 100 spirit and summon skeleton lvl 1, I get to town and get skill gem and select skeleton archer.

I then leave town and try to spam activate skeleton archer with no error message for 'not enough spirit,' and un-equip, re-equip gem wondering why it's not working.

This initial miscalculation of spirit for abilities may be enough to get a new player to just alt+f4, the weapon you get on the beach should have enough spirit for the skeleton archers as well imo
