Greater Support For Niche Skill Archetypes
I really appreciate Warrior getting more fire skills! In the same vein, please create more bone (physical) witch spells, chaos witch spells, physical bow skills, and chaos quarterstaff skills (chayula-aligned). These skill archetypes all seem very interesting to me, but feel really under-baked and incomplete.
To me, Elemental, Mace, and Crossbow are the skill libraries that feel like they have the most cohesive identities so far. All other schools feel like 50-80% of how fleshed out those three are. I'm sure fixing that is fairly low in priority, but I'd love to see it. Right now a lot of builds feel funneled down into narrow sets of skill-pairs because there are so few skills for each archetype. I really hope they get expanded. I want more totems.
Shockwave is good and all,but the only other option we have is basically a shitty earthbreaker support that requires charges for some reason.Give us Warchiefs to work with or even newer physical ones to play with since they don't have to worry about balancing them for 1 now. Another thing that I feel would help would be easing up on cross-type restrictions, like how before 0.3, skills like Killing Palm, Staggering Palm, and most notably Hand of Chayula, which in itself offered variety across type restrictions, were able to be used by all weapon types even with both swaps occupied, and its not the same now even with Hollow Palm, in which each class does not have access to, cutting off those skills. It is incredibly discouraging to see this position further be taken with the recent restrictions added to Toxic Domain. I am not advocating for being able to do it all and have access to anything, but I'd like to be able to create combos and have access to expression in gameplay and skilling and have an aha moment when something clicks, rather than being molded into a specific pre-determined already existing archetype or else you either fail or are unable to participate altogether because the game does not allow for such a degree of interactivity in its design space.
