After death effects, why GGG? Why?

I tried out the new Mortar Cannon with Explosive Grenade this go around and I literally cannot see anything on my screen.

90% of my deaths have been to AFTER EFFECTS that i cannot see because my screen is covered with literal explosions/oil fires and loot. Now when I run tough content, I literally have to stand back for like 5 seconds after nearly every pack because only god knows if there's a 1 shot mechanic hidden somewhere.

"literally cannot see anything on my screen", you do realize that's not even possible unless you're blind.
I am blinded by the 3 mortar turrets shooting 12 explosive grenades and the fire on the ground from Mortar Cannon build.

I'm just ranting but you can't tell me dying to something that's very difficult to see 3 seconds after something dies is a fun mechanic.
The problem is not the on-death effects, the problem is the lack of ability to identify the cause.

Having screen clutter is always going to be an issue in a game like this. GGG needs to implement a method to provide player death information, and there are multiple threads regarding this.

Quick rehash:

1. Simply add more text to the You have died message stating what monster, or what monster and skill you were slain by. (Similar to diablo 3)

2. Make the screen at time of death freeze, and give monsters and their effects mouse-over tool tips following your death, allowing you to examine what each is called and what damage types it has.
“Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
Learn how death effects work. Understand how to spot them, recognize the obvious visual or audio cues, and dodge them instead of tanking them like a wannabe chad. Suddenly, they go from game-ending threats to complete non-issues.
