Firestorm is so pointless. Multi-infusion setups need a better payoff
Firestorm looks good on paper: a big aoe spell that rains a lot of damage on enemies if you have all three infusions, right?
Well, no, the design of the skill makes it fundamentally worse than just have something like comet+ unleash/ spell echo to spend 3 fire infusions whenever I get them. The interaction with increased size/increased impact radius means that getting increased radius makes the skill more unreliable In theory it should have more or less the same dps with better coverage. In practice it only works decently for targets with a large hitbox and is too clunky due to cast time for a skill you're supposed to want to weave in your rotation. If it was a way to deal chip damage on an area or boss it should be at least on a lower cast time if it's not spammable. Last bumped on Sep 7, 2025, 12:57:02 PM

Firestorm should have the projectiles smart target so they fire AT monsters inside its area of effect, bam. Skills fixed and now powerful and fun. Nobody wants skills that miss 90% of the time.
