Failing a Corrupted Nexus map feels bad
In the current design of the endgame, if you start and fail a corrupted nexus map, the map loses all its modifiers, and you can no longer complete the quest/get the Atlas skill points or anything. No way to clear the nearby corruption either.
This feels bad - especially when I had the misfortune of getting the Viper boss that pretty much killed me 3 times in a row with the overtuned poison/chaos spears from the sides. I have no other corrupted nexus nearby, atleast a dozen maps to push the fog further out. Really just killed the drive to play as I'm stuck with this Atlas overworld map across all characters for this season - why no ability to reset the atlas map again? - and I really don't want to do a dozen more maps just to progress what should have been one of the initial quests. Do we know if this is the intended experience? Was there any mention of them address this at some point? Last bumped on Sep 7, 2025, 6:10:29 AM
