Mace Skills should break armour passively
I get it things like poison become a corrosive acid to destroy armour.
But why in hell massive big bonks need a support gem to contribute to armour break? they should smash em Maybe make a Mace base implicit, if faster weapons having access to a gloves/weapon mod would be a problem. There used to have a guaranteed armour break on stun but you removed it Armoured enemies are just way too annoying requiring a specific skill to break armour since we don't have chance to ignore PDR in this game. Also Bosses rebuilding armour after break is dumb and makes no sense at all Having to break armour + stun at the same time to have a small damage window is so stupid Mace is already slow enough with so much shit to punish you in melee range to have all these stupid conditions to deal damage 0.3 basically screams to go fire damage with maces. it's way easier to build damage than pure phys having to deal with all this BS. Try Heavy stun breaks 50% of enemy armor node and get +100% armor break effect from the tree and you can fully break armor by stunning which should be easy with maces.

" I mean sure you CAN work around it. even sparing a support gem slot for 2 skills is an ''easy'' workaround. It's just MACES specifically have no reason to need extra investment to break armour. Also for armoured bosses you still need to remove 50% with a specific skill even with the node. for such super slow weapon that's just too much annoyance Might as well just go fire damage as the game is basically beggin you to. that's the issue. I think there is a chance we may see something like that when axes/swords/flails are released. There will be many melee reworks in that time so either mace/flail/axe exclusive nodes for armor break or mace basetypes with armor breaking. Either way, melee is pretty much in a placeholder state until those other bases and skills are available.

I agree. I thought maces would break armour by default. It would've made them more unique. If anything its a missed opportunity to make melee more interesting.
