Used access key, still being asked to purchase early access for PoE2

Friend gifted me a access key from a giveaway he won. I used it to install the game on steam but when I login to PoE2 its telling me to purchase early access because free week is completed.
My PoE account and steam account are linked so I'm not understanding the issue please help. Last bumped on Sep 6, 2025, 4:30:52 PM

Licenses are platform-specific.
You would need to buy the game on PlayStation to play on PlayStation. Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.
