Eye of Hinekora not

Hello Forum,

I forgot to complete the "Eye of Hinekora" quest during the campaign, and now I can no longer access the passive skill points from it. I'm currently missing one passive point compared to other players at my level.

Could someone please advise me on how to resolve this?

Despite the forum you posted in, I'm assuming this is a PoE2 report? The PoE1 wiki doesn't give me any search results for "Eye of Hinekora".

All the quest rewards in PoE2 give 2 passive points, so I don't think it's possible to only be missing one passive. Maybe you're miscalculating, which happens occasionally because people think that the number of passive skill points gained from leveling must be equal to their level.

When you start a fresh character, they start at Level 1 with no passive skill points.

This is not helpful – this is the worst support experience I've had. I'm missing 1 passive point compared to other characters at the same level. Support is just referring me to a forum where no one is helping me.

Yes, GGG does not typically spend time providing support that boils down to teaching the customer how the game works.

I'm not GGG support, I'm another player who's trying to help you figure out your issue.

To that end--if you don't provide more information, people can't help you much. You haven't even confirmed whether this is something you're facing in PoE1 or PoE2.

I can only assume that you're a PoE2 from the lack of challenge league progress in PoE1's Mercenaries of Trarthus league.



Assuming this is PoE2, the number of passive skill points you should have is:
(Level - 1) + total Weapon Set Points

With "total Weapon Set Points" having a maximum of 24.

Ah, I forgot one other possibility for user error: If you're comparing with builds on poe.ninja, check if the build you're viewing has an annointed amulet.

Amulets can be annointed to allocate a passive on your passive tree. When viewed on a poe.ninja build, I believe those are counted as an allocated passive, granting the illusion that they've spent an extra passive point.

Yep, it's an Act 4 quest.

Either OP is miscounting, not accounting for level 1, or some other user error because it is not possible to miss a single passive point.

24 weapon set passives at end of campaign is going to be the best way to validate you have all the passives until they enable /passives. Or the skulls on the map with a + sign, but I struggle seeing most of them.
