Skin Transfer Micro transaction Does NOT WORK

Bought a bunch of the skin Transfer mtx from the store on Xbox series X and they do not work, activating them in the cosmetics menu takes you to you're inventory to select which item you want to change and pressing a to select the item you want the appearance of just picks the item up as in to move it around the inventory, putting it back and then selecting the armour you want changed does the exact same thing, picks it up. I've been messing with it for 3 days and it simply doesn't work and from the looks of other threads it's not working for other people. hopefully it gets fixed soon if not at least taken off the store since it does nothing
