Lost Items Due to Stash Tab Upgrade to Merchant's Tab – No Control Over Tab Selection

I'm writing to report an issue I experienced when upgrading a Premium Stash Tab to a Merchant’s Tab via the website.

At the time of the upgrade, the site displayed a list of stash tabs that were eligible for conversion. However, the system did not indicate whether those tabs contained items, nor did it allow me to review or choose among them based on their contents. As a result, I proceeded with the upgrade, and the system automatically converted a tab that had a significant number of valuable items in it—specifically, a large number of runes.

There was no warning or prompt alerting me that the selected tab was not empty, and I had no way to ensure that an empty or unused tab would be upgraded. Because I own many Premium Stash Tabs, I had intended to upgrade a tab without any contents, but the current process provides no visibility or control to make that possible.

Issue Summary:

The website showed a list of eligible Premium Stash Tabs for upgrade.

It did not display whether the tabs had items in them.

A tab with many runes was automatically converted, resulting in permanent loss of those items.

There was no option to select or verify an empty tab for upgrade.

I’m requesting restoration of the items lost during this process or, if possible, a reversal of the upgrade so I can recover the contents.

The tab was downgraded into a Remove Only stash tab.

Set your stash to shop hiding those and you'll be able to retrieve your items.
