Currency

100+ hours into this new league with 2 campaign run throughs have not found a single raw divine. i have tried using item rarity boosters in game via gear and map mods still nothing. its very hard on this game to progress with out having the funds to upgrade gear.

If this relates to POE1, you often will not find DIV during the campaign. I rarely if ever find DIV during the campaign and I run it a lot. This league I did mage to find one very early in SSF off a Merc. I suggest searching them when you can, they seem to be relatively good for DIV. I managed to get 3DIV off one in trade league. The infamy level many have something to do with it, I'm not sure if it relates to the currency rolls.

Item rarity will not help u with currency, you need quant. I assume this is the same in POE2, but I am not familiar much with the game, so it may be different.

doesnt matter the issue is 100+ hours of game play and still not a single divine drop. people cannot progress in the game without having currency to buy gear.

If you doubled the currency everyone had, you'd double the price of all items.

Currency's value is relative; not absolute.

The play time is not relevant, it is the quant that you are clearing. Time in campaign will not yield the same DIV/hour as running juiced T16 maps. There are ways to progress your character without needing DIV.

I tend to agree that Natural DIV/Ex drops could be a little less rare, as they are attempting with having some things be more useable in POE2 than saving just for crafting bench or trade. That is the way it is in POE1 though. They are valuable items and you can not rely on having them early in every playthrough.

Some other possible methods of finding them can be the choice on content you are running. Some possible suggestions I can give if you need them for your build are Heist, Expedition Tujen, Kalguur farming/Shipping.

Merc league is also getting fairly old at this point, so prices of certain things become inflated. Though some things you can farm still are useful, so you might need to tailor your farming based off of that versus typical league start. If you are farming heavily in maps you should be getting enough useful things to sell to progress even if it is not directly DIV drops. If not, you may need to adjust your farming strategy. Locus of corruption looks to be worth 2.5DIV currently. It takes some knowledge, but that is something I might suggest. There are likely more efficient ways as well.

Most people dont get their currency from raw divine drops. Pick a resource farm strat.
