Accounts and micro transaction issues

This happened to me on early access and it’s happened again where something for my steam account is getting sent over to my old (I think) psn account I’m tired of it. I opened up a ticket with support but like always they’re busy so I just gotta wait it out. Anyone know if I can just delete that old account after support fixes that issue? Or would that just cause an issue in my main account on steam?
