Fire sorceress 0.3.0?
Ember fusillage was nerfed to hell in last minor patch. (wildshards + nova projectiles "fix")

Chaos fireball didn't have enough clear, had to switch to contagion & essence drain, which is far from optimal for a sorceress.
Might try spark + ark if I get a decent + levels for them, but in HC SSF this is not certain. |

Which spells haven't been affected in reality?
Half of them had a CD added, and the other half had their damage reduced. And I'm ONLY talking about spells that are playable, I'm not even mentioning those that are never played and haven't even been touched. The “current” builds are still Lightning builds... Enough already, we'd like to have something else for a change! So they gave us the infusion system: who actually plays with it? In what build? I haven't seen any. There was an attempt at a 3-element build, but it's struggling to exist... In short, I think that with only three patches of nerfs and build “destruction” limits from GGG, we really shouldn't expect much on that front. My conclusion is: if you want to play a “caster,” go for the Witch with builds that are already good, better survivability, and more stable damage... They've added a fourth ascendance to the Witch, when we're struggling to find even one viable one for the Sorceress... |

As per the patch notes, I suspect that the change for ember fusillage was unintended, it was the primary damage dealer for fire builds, and now its gone.
The skill tree isn't built for 3 element damage, only the first nodes where changed from a certain element to all elements. after that youll need to pick one -> GGG didn't think this one through. |
