Arc Accurracy is Off.
So Arc appears to be missing even when my mouse is directly over a monster. It will go off to the side of the monster instead of hitting them.
Initially I thought this was due to poor aim with my mouse cursor, but after standing still, with no monsters around, you can clearly see the Arc hitting pretty far away from my cursor. It's causing me to sometimes 'miss' the spell which effectively wastes that spell use if there is nothing for the arc to hit. Is Arc not always hitting where my cursor is an intended design? If so, I don't think it's very good design. If I wanted to deal with 'accuracy' I would make a melee build. Arc not going to where my cursor is when I use it seems like an unfair disadvantage and would appreciate it get fixed if it was not intentional. If it was intentional, I would still appreciate that changing because there's nothing like a skill not hitting where you point at despite it being described as 'an arc of lightning stretches from the caster to a targeted enemy...' I'm not so sure it does that considering how often it just misses lol Thanks. Last bumped on Sep 8, 2025, 7:39:28 PM

" PoE 2 Bug Reports: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/2214 PoE 2 Suggestions: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/2213 If you're using wildshards/Sione's, it will center off the player and ignore targetting. Otherwise you're dealing with the projectile/lightning archetype they've designed where it's pinging back and forth so it can randomly curve around the enemy the further away you are from the enemy. If closer, you won't miss, usually. They've added some new projectile nodes which help targetting to some extent as it closes the missing window, but sadly that is the design they decided to go with. Also keep in mind Arc has an abysmal damage range so often times I've hit enemies for 0% damage even in melee range. |

Thanks for the reply.
I hadn't seen those posts, but figured I'd make this thread just in case. Appreciate your input. |
