Companion farming bug/feature issue.
Greeting!
I have been attempting to create a hybrid grenade and companion mercenary build and in doing so started farmed fixed rare location for optimal mods rare but fell into an issue real quick that honestly only realy affect console. The recommended method is to find the waypoint of the fixed rare location, encouter said rare and then pause and inspect mod, if unsatisfactory you reload to waypoint. Here come the console issue, this method require that you deal no damage thus usualy not a big deal for pc but us console folks cannot mouse over to check mods while it's paused so the only method is hard targeting while in live. This make it annoying and inconsistent ESPECIALY for fixed rare that tend to be surrounded by mobs because if you damage them even if you reload to waypoint they no longer respawn, similarly if you kill them waypoint method doesnt work either. So GGG could you implement a solution to this for console or everyone overall? I see 3 possible fix. 1. Damaging or killing minions or the rare still allow you to respawn to waypoint to respawn a random modded fixed rare. (this may cause slight issue with fixed waypoint farming but honestly if your drop mechanic system is well made it's shouldnt ever come clause to an optimal way to farm currency thus not be an issue.) 2. Grant console the ability to have a cursor mode in pause so that we can mouse over it. 3. Revamp companion mechanics so that all this hassle can be skipped and we can just in a way create the 4 mod rare companion we want, be it by introducing something that allow use to seperate the mods from the rare to put them on a companion gem of our choice or another method of your choosing. Sincerely, a guy that doesn't want to spend the next 100h slow farming on console for a frozen mandible with the 3 to 4 mods i want.
