Chilled ground is not it

This mod is unberable guys. Can we just get rid of these lame mods that turn the game into slo mo? Nobody enjoys this.

At the very least, it needs a major reduction in AoE and slow effect.

Try silver charms (charms can counter the ground effects like chill or ignite). The unique one also gives you onslaught, so it turns chilled ground into an upside, if you can keep up with making enough charges.

No idea what they were thinking by making chilled ground more punishing in 0.3. It's so terrible now. -30% movement speed is just abysmal. It's the reason everyone hated and didn't run temporal chains maps since launch.

Yeah, it's really bad. They also said that since now you get more punishments from waystone mods they lowered the numbers... yet this one is worse than before... what's up with that?

Reallistically, I'm not going to swap my stun/freeze/shock charms everytime I get a temp chain or chilled ground map.
If I had a titan rucksack to keep them in, I probably would (Every single class should have that btw) but otherwise I'll just deal with it and it'll be very annoying.

Maybe very late game when we have an uber character and we're notafraid of stuns anymore we could get a charm slot for that. But until then chilled ground is just a mega slog factor. it probably could be tuned down a little

I understand it exists to make reduced slow/chill somewhat usefull and boy aren't you glad to have it then, but still, in most cases you won't and damn is it boring to deal with these maps

Why not tho? That's what the charms are for - to counter the map mechanics. Stun and freeze are for all of the maps i get that, however why use shock charm if not running a shock map? And it takes like 3 sec to change the charm and click the well :) You already use the shock charm, so just have ignite and chill charms in your stash for quick change, and those map mods will become non-issue. And if you have more waystones with chill, just drop the charm and run all of those waystones back-to-back, so you don't have to change the charms all the time. The solutions are there, if you specifically choose not to use them then - that's on you :)

Yeah no it's not worth it.
Maybe later down the line I could mitigate freeze enough to keep the silver charm permanently.
Or if I had a titan backpack I might keep it in there and do the swap quickly.
Otherwise I won't even consider it.
I'm not swapping charms on a per map basis. Let's be serious here.

Lol :) It's fine to play the way you want, however asking for the game to be changed to suit your "I don't care" playstyle is probably a waste of your time. Won't happen.
Since this season and for this modifier, I started missing temporal chains...
Yeah this mod might as well read "Your next map will take double the time". It only exists to force us to use currency to either "fix" the map or buy a new one lol.
